Emyne The Superstar

Just Be's Music Video is just as bright and colorful as the song itself. With so much joyful innergy embracing you from the screen it's hard not to smile and even laugh watching all of the fun take place! The music video stars Emyne The Superstar and her baby sister, as well as some family and friends who really kept the song alive for months before the music video came to be!

Malcolm X Park right in West Philly is where the video takes place and this is intentional! As Emyne states "And it's okay, if you be smiling and sing while you walk through the hood!' Which s exactly what she and her friends and family do, right along 52nd street! Chanting somme affirmations lead by Emyne's good friend Sheen Anthony also known as Creatively Sheen. He leads the beautiful group starting with some affirmations he put together and speaks often, "I am grounded. I trust the process of life." are just a couple. The marching and chanting affirmations scenes were very important to Emyne because it really paints the picture of the joy, healing and power that is cultivated ANYWHERE you choose to be. It all comes from within!

"Just Be" is not only a song but a mantra for presence, gratitude and love. Healing through song and affirmations is something Emyne actually does and she taked pride and joy in knowing that she creates the kind of music she actually loves listening and blossoming to. Prayerfully seeing so much Black Joy and Love serves everyone this video comes into contact with! That's the intention. And remember... "You are more than allowed... you are ENCOURAGED...to Just Be."
