About The Superstar

Emyne, also known as Emyne The Superstar, is a singer-songwriter and Hip Hop and Intentional Pop, performing and recording artist. Her birth name means Faith, derived from the last day of the African Holiday, Kwanzaa. And even with the spelling difference she carries the meaning with her still. In her intros to crowds she sometimes begins by saying, “Peace everyone, my name is Emyne. It means Faith and I cultivate that daily!”

Emyne is classically trained and has been performing professionally for 8+ years! She’s been vocal coaching for about 3 years and still has her own private practice. So far, she’s released 4 albums; “Purple” in May of 2020,  "PLATINUM: The Freestyle" in July of 2020, “GOLDEN” in November of 2020 and “21-Keep It.” in August of 2021 . Emyne wrote or freestyled everything on all of her projects and even did some producing and engineering! She know produces under the name “Superstar Productions” where she specializes in ambient, trap and meditative sounds! In her latest project “A soft place to land” she not only freestyled a song and took her audience on a meditative experience, but she also produced the ambiance and musicality around each piece! The project begins with a freestyled song, has a beautiful poem with sounds like you’re in a garden and ends with a beautiful meditative experience that includes soothing music and sound effects throughout! Production is definitely becoming something Emyne adores!

The Superstar has performed at The Apollo Theater 3 times as a child star and has touched the stages of many venues around Philadelphia, including World Live Cafe, ODUNDE, The Clef Club, Rec Philly, and more!

Emyne has become known for her sweet yet powerful vocals, impressive lyricism and captivating stage presence. Over the years she’s put an abundance of intention on becoming a more honest and clever songwriter and using better technique vocally. You can hear the growth and the emotion from album to album. With her song “Just Be” continuing to gain traction the growth is powerful to see! She is a true superstar and shines in every room she walks in! Now, even a podcast room! She runs her own podcast & show called “The Butterfly Experience Podcast”! A platform centered around radical creativity , deep healing and divine conversation , where she tells her story and shares her perspective in new ways as well as interviews up and coming artists , encouraging them to do the same! 

With a unique and compelling discography at the young age of 23, she is as beautiful and transformative as a butterfly and as unique as each of her handmade pieces of jewelry! The Superstar looks forward to completing her next album and providing her community with impressive and empowering visuals! Tour is also ALWAYS the big goal!
